About HighSchoolGPACalculator
HighSchoolGPACalculator (highschoolgpa-calculator.com) is an independent English-language site focused on high school GPA math: unweighted and weighted averages, cumulative and semester windows, percent/letter conversion, core-course estimates, and target planning.
We currently publish 90 distinct calculators plus a focused set of guides. Flagship tool: the High School GPA Calculator (4.0). We are not a general calculator directory, and we are not affiliated with any school district, College Board, Common App, or college admissions office.
Who operates this site
The site is run by an independent editorial project under the name HighSchoolGPACalculator Editorial. There is no claim of school-counselor licensure or “board certification.” Contact for corrections and privacy: contact@highschoolgpa-calculator.com (contact page). Read the editorial team profile for authorship, review scope, and correction responsibilities.
Who this is for
Students and families estimating GPA from report cards; teachers demonstrating credit-weighted arithmetic; anyone comparing unweighted vs weighted scales or planning toward a target. Results are educational orientation only — never a substitute for your official transcript or handbook.
How we build tools
- Each compute engine is mapped in our methodology registry (evidence tiers A–D).
- Public references include College Board BigFuture 4.0 orientation materials, Common App context pages, and NACAC research hubs where relevant.
- Pages state inputs, method, limits, worked examples, FAQ, and sources.
- We consolidate tools that would otherwise repeat the same calculation.
Trust pages
Always: educational orientation only — not an official transcript GPA. Schools and colleges may recalculate.
